Revisiting the Past

The past can be such a scary place, but it can also be quite wonderful. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the past. I looked through some old family photos and found some very interesting things.



Here is a photo of my mom and I. Doesn't she look like Catherine Zeta Jones from Chicago? I had no idea she was such a stylish women. Her style is elegant bold but most important - simple. Something I aspire to.



And here's my dad in a long camel trench coat with some very appropriate brown dress shoes. There's also a striped orange and white glove that totally pulls his outfit together. Great shot taken by my mom. This was probably pre-me days. They had time to walk around Queens Park and take photos!

But aside from looking at old photos, I've also been journeying through my past. Recently, I revived a very old game and got it to play on my Macbook pro which is incredible. Totally nostalgic. That whole process had taken me four straight days of trial and error. 

ooAnd something else that is resurfacing are relationships. The relationship. Am I ready to revisit that particular relationship? Hard to tell - I don't think I've ever left. In the back of my mind, I think there was always a speck of hope that one day...I would gather enough courage to make contact. And if it failed, I would start gathering again. With each effort, it became harder and less painful to try. Now that we've started talking again..I feel like my whole world has turned right side up. This time around, I'm going to expect nothing and give everything. It's true when they say that an Aries' love, is the greatest love. Not that I'm calling anything love..it's just,.. like love.

On a side note...

- I've been very ill. My throat feels like it's swelled to the size of a balloon. I can barely talk. 

- Though I say I'm looking for a job, my efforts have only extended to starting an account on Monsters.com and Workopolis.com. Also, fluffing up my resume. I can't bare the idea of not getting an interview. I hate cold searching.

- I've finally reached the ever elusive Internet Usage Cap! Well, 75%. Apparently, (if you are using Rogers) you get 60 gig each month, and this month I've somehow managed to use 45 gigs. Incredible! Now how to use 75% on my data plan......that's a tough one.

- Alice in Wonderland, March 2010! Forget the story, I'm in it to see Johnny Depp's cooky acting. He's so incredibly talented! Also, hot.

- Christmas has come early this year! Susan Miller is my monthly read. Every month of the last day, after 3AM (which is technically the first day of the month), Susan posts her very accurate and in-depth and horoscope forecast. It's come a few days early this month..soo....read on :)
