I received an invitation to a sale at Aritizia starting June 15th until June 24th. Has my long-time loyalty to Aritzia finally paid off? The discount and free gift was a secret until you visited the store. So visit the store I did. This card shown here was given to me after I showed them my little postcard invitation.

I picked up a pair of pleated shorts. I loved the way the pleats moved as I moved. The shorts help hide a little bit of that extra inner-thigh, all the while making me look a bit taller with the high waist. It's a pity there wasn't any supporting straps on the waist though. I would've loved to add a belt to this sometimes. Oh well :)

My free gift was a giant beach towel. Perfect timing! I can put it to good use on Canada day.
Unfortunately, I lost the card. I slipped it into a paper bag I thought the sales girl was going to use, but she ended up using a different bag at the last minute. Luckily, there isn't much I want at Aritzia this season..or last season. I think after many years of observing their trend, it has gotten a little too young for my taste. Either that, or I've grown out of Aritzia. I purchased a mini grey dress from Aritzia two years ago, and this year, I saw the exact same dress but this time, it was cream and grey and poorly made. I'm losing faith in them :(
