The Image

I've once heard from somewhere..or someone that claiming that you're broke is only temporary, but claiming that you're poor is a state of mind. So where am I at if I'm liquidating my goods? Am I broke or poor? Or neither? It's a tough question. 

ooAs I was looking at some of my things, I couldn't help but ask myself "if I sold this, will I still be perceived a certain way?". Will I maintain a certain image if I am without these materials things? The ultimate answer is - it doesn't matter how much (or what) I own. But there is a side of me that is unwilling to let go. Sentimental values I guess? 

ooOne piece that I have been reluctant to sell is my prom dress. I am inexplicably drawn to it, even if it doesn't fit anymore!

This item is too precious, but if the price was right, perhaps I will let it go. If you are interested, maybe we can work something out!

My coworker showed me this great site called Kijiji where you can buy/sell things. Think Craiglist locality meets Ebay traffic meets free ad-posts. Voila - Kijiji! Check it out, you might find some interesting things there :)
