A little Optimism.

Everyday, do something that scares you.

I wish I had remember the person who said this. It seems like another cheesy inspirational quote for your run-of-the-mill self-help book, but the more I think about it, the less cheesy it is.

Yesterday, I took this little quote to heart and did something radically new - learn a new software program. Yes, I've mastered Illustrator and InDesign, and have used Photoshop since I was in my teenage figure¹, but I haven't learned any new software ever since. And how does one grow without learning new things? So I took up iMovie. I'm guessing Final Cut Pro is the Madonna of Britney Spears. But Britney has done herself some good too right? So since iMovie was already on my computer, I gathered a few of my favourite travel videos² and compiled them together in this very short, YouTube debut!



Totally sensational if I do say so myself!

¹ Triggered by last night's sentimental photo browsing..boy did I look good!
² Or what was left of it...my hard drive had to die once before I learned to backup files...and three more times before I had a replacement. WOOT!
